Mr Imad Burhan Managing Director of Al-Burhan Group attended the gala dinner organised by AMAR, in the company of his family. This event took place on the 29th June 2018 and was hosted by AMAR Chair Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne.

This distinctive occasion was held to celebrate well-respected Romanian children’s charity The Asociatia Children’s High Level Group (ACHLG) becoming a part of the AMAR family and to raise awareness of the appalling plight of Romania’s orphans and disabled children.

The Asociatia Children’s High Level Group (ACHLG) has been renamed AMAR Romania. This charity has always had strong ties with AMAR through Chairman Baroness Nicholson, as it was originally founded by the Baroness in the early 1990’s following the fall of the Communist regime led by Nicolae Ceasescu.

A total of £34,000 was raised at the Gala Dinner, including a generous donation from ABG Managing Director Mr Imad Burhan. The money raised will ensure that the children and young adults benefit from the educational program organised by AMAR Romania in partnership with the Romanian Ministry of Education.
