Training Program for 27 Iraqi Republic Railways (IRR) engineers in Dorsch offices in Munich
ABG and Dorsch Consult have conducted a training program for 27 Iraqi Republic Railways (IRR) Engineers on the Dorsch Consult offices in Munich between the period of 20/07/2009 till 16/08/2009. Iraqi delegation represent three railways projects and each group consist of 3 senior engineers and 6 juniors engineers.
The core of the training is to let the Iraqi engineers to be fully aware about the latest development in the design of the railways lines and be compatible with the international standards in design such lines especially that Iraq would like to expand their network to be connected with neighbouring countries.
Iraqi engineers had theory classes which covered (signaling and communication), (Operational and Maintenance) , (Concept of feasibility study) and other railways issues. Dorsch Consult prepared a visit to one of the railway bridges which is under construction by Dorsch Consult supervision. Iraqi Engineers have visited a number of railway stations, factories & railway exhibitions.
This training program is essential to the Iraqi Republic Railways engineers as it gives a good understanding and good knowledge and enhance their capability and develop their experience in this special field.
Mr Mohammed Musalat MSc/ AlBurhan Group Regional Director, have confirmed that this training program will be for the benefit for the Iraqi people in General and for Iraqi Republic Railways in particular as this will enhance their knowledge according to the high international standards in design and construction of the railways lines and to provide them with the right experience to develop the iraqi republic railway.
Mr Mohammed Musalat MSc/ AlBurhan Group Regional Director, have accompanied the Iraqi Railway engineers during the training programme and had all the necessary translations for the delegation to enhance their knowledge in the railway terms and conditions.
