Attending the biggest Railway Exhibition in the world
Innotrans is the world’s largest railway exhibition and conference held every two years in Berlin, Germany. Representatives of Al-Burhan Group will be in attendance this year with aim to promote the Group’s activities and gather promising new contacts. Over 2200 exhibitors from 44 countries will be displaying the latest in railway services and technology. The exhibition will run from the 21st to the 24th of September with over 100,000 visitors expected to attend.
Globally recognised companies such as Bombardier, Harsco, Pandrol, Progress Rail and VAE will be showcasing their products and capabilities. The exhibition is divided into five primary sections consisting of: Railway Technology, Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction. As with last year, there will open air displays promoting full sized locomotives and wagons from the leading manufacturers on 3,500 metres on dedicated track inside the exhibition grounds.
Innotrans is a truly international event with over half the exhibitors coming from outside Germany. This year Canada and the USA are expecting to have a large presence reflecting the growing global importance of railways in meeting the transport needs of the world. Arab and South American countries are also expected have an unprecedentedly large contribution this year. The Innotrans exhibition also attracts an ever growing number of associations and railway operators from around the worlds. Innotrans is rare opportunity for clients and producers alike to meet and explore new business relationships.
Al-Burhan Group has published a railway specific ‘mini-prospectus’ specifically to take to Innotrans this year. The prospectus will describe and promote Al-Burhan Group’s various railway departments including a list of latest plans and projects. Representatives of the Group hope to gather an array of new contacts particularly in the fields of rolling stock rehabilitation and new railway line construction. The exhibition will also be an opportunity for Al-Burhan Group to promote the growing opportunities available in the ever-growing Iraqi economy. Attending such exhibitions is part Al-Burhan Group’s strategy in positioning itself as a leading player and deal maker in all aspects of the railway industry in Iraq.
